Old sports equipment

Forgive me as this has nothing to do with metal detecting at all. My question is where would a person be able to learn the value of old sports equipment. What I have is either a baseball umpire or catchers equipment. This used to belong to my great grandfather and he used it when he was a young man. I am 42 years old and it is older than me. The equipment is in the original container and all the equipment is in great shape. It is all there from the face mask to the shin guards. I am not looking to get rid of this stuff, but I would like to learn the value of it. Sorry about no pictures.
Thanks for any help

Re: Old sports equipment

Thanks for the link. That link gave me a rough idea of what this stuff is worth. I am surprised to say the least. I am pretty sure that there are not to many of these umpire/catchers gear sets left anymore. This set that i have has the chest protector, the face guard, the shin protectors, the cleats, and the pants. All this stuff is in great shape, with all the straps and buckles still functioning and useable.
The only identifying marks as to the manufacture of this equipment is the Wilson tag on the face guard. So I have to assume that Wilson sports equipment was the maker of this set. Do you think maybe the Wilson sports equipment company could possibly date this equipment?
Thanks again for any help
