My secret is out !!
The sledding hills are great.
I check them after every snow melt and find tons of coins.
Doing this frequently, I find most pocket spills still laying right on the surface..
E-Z money. HaHaHa

That was some rich kid back in the 1850's.

Awsome silver, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to TNet and great find. Hmmmm, sledding hills, never thought to check them out.

Congrats on a great find! And welcome to TNet.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you located? What kind of detector do you use? How long have you been detecting?

Hi folks, thanks for the nice comments, I was asked to tell you a little about myself. I started out in this hobby about 20 years ago with a Sears (Jetco-Mustang) Anybody remember them ? One dial, no discrimination and all metal mode. I became an expert in the trash business.

Later on I bought the Fisher 1266X, (still have it) Started finding the good stuff. I now use the Spectrum XLT. I normally hunt open fields and find lots of neat stuff. Some of my favorite finds consist of a Union Sword Belt Plate, Musket Balls and Buckshot found on P.P. next to the Brandywine Battlefield and a Tennesee Horse Bridle Rosette.

Thants about it folks. I look forward to sharing information with you all.

PS. Never pass over that loud pop drink can signal. Thats what the Sword Belt Plate was showing.
