Didn't have anywhere to detect today except for going back to where I dug my William Pitt button a few years ago. That last 5 times there I've dug 2 buttons each time. The place seems almost hunted out but still always gives up a few. This time it just rained and I turned the sensitivity to 10 on the 1270. It was noisy but pulled out 5 more buttons all close to a foot deep or better. The octagon button is a first for me. The silver one was a two piece but fell apart when it came out of the ground. One of these days I'm going to trench it, hopefully next spring. Today got my hopes high on this site agin. I did dig one coin a darn 1940 wheat cent. Most have been a hunter drop. HH. Oh and found me a rack.

Looks like a Tudor Rose cuff link? Also nice piece of a musket side plate!

Had to look up Tudor rose, that looks right. Thanks. Wasn't sure if that was a side plate or not it's my first one. Thanks again la.fur trade.

Very nice finds. Wouldn't be giving up on that spot anytime soon.
