I thought you were at the North Pole?!? Just kidding my friend! Looking forward on your research on the coin. Sorry, but not sure what to do about your headphones.

Hamid,

Good going on the hammered silver coin....hopefully someone can ID it for you.

Insofar as the wire break on the headphones maybe send a pm to OBN he's great at working on detecting equipment.

Regards + HH

Bill

Fantastic coin find, Hamid:hello2:

Sorry about the headphone problem; hope you get it fixed soon.

I had this problem about a year ago, with my Excal.2, and cut the headphone wires and re-soldered them twice. After the second time that the wire sheath began to split,I replaced the earphones.

Congrats on your find of this ancient hammered silver coin.
It is my strong opinion that this should be a banner find!

The only thing that I have found hammered where I detect are locals and tourists, though my hunting buddy did find a much larger
hammered spanish cob coin.

The problem that you are having with your headphone, clearly illustrates why I do not like to hardwire anything to my detector, as when a break occurs, it is a show stopper, which would not be the case if the break was on the end that is not hardwired to the processor.
