Does anyone else have to log in on each visit even if you click "save" when you log in? If I leave and come back I have to log back in every time.

You can't follow your posts and responses. It would also be a little more informative as to who the the new owners and administrative people are? And why could they not leave the old format and just update it. That would be a lot easier than changing the whole thing!

I wasn't able to see the Banner until I clicked on Forum at the top of the page. Also I didn't have to log in to post this, so it must be keeping me logged in.

It's keeping me logged in also. Thought it was just me. I hate change. Maybe it's work in progress and will get better.

Dislike new format so far participation will drop and it will change again is my prediction,sorry about my spelling new format has asked me to download spell check more crap that old school dial-up landline users really hate and often leads to not any website visitation at all beacause just the home page takes 5-freaken min. to show up and so on and on and on has the government taken over T-net to or something? my vent and apoligies

You can see the banner on the forum list page. Click "Forum" at top left of this page.
Maybe they will put the banner back on this page if we ask em to.
I resist change. Old dog, new trick thing. lol.

Seems like too much wasted space now too.They had a good thing, they should have stuck with it, it looked professional. Now it just looks cheesy and like a kid built the site.

Just like any new toy you need to play around with it to get use to it. The format is a little more sophisticated then the original format and I'm sure the MODS are taking every piece of advice and changing it for the better. It is not in there best interest to lose members. With that said, I liked the older more easier format plus the ease of seeing Banner finds!!! Note to MODS, Please stop using the banner like a tick'er tape. We use to know the most recent Banner find by the order and stationary position of the Banner finds!!!! This is confusing as we do not know now which is the newest Banner discovery!!!!......................To all the naysayers, nothing is ever easy to learn but this site will grow on you if you decide to learn it instead of complaining about the new format.........................The members and all of your friends are still here and nothing has changed with them except more grey hair!!!!! HAHA..............GTP

i have a computer at home and have no problems other than the fact i have to log in almost all the time with every time i use this forum and never had to before
my other computer at my office tells me to log in every time also and remembers my name and password when i log in and thanks me for logging in, then it directs me to this site and tells me that i have to log in again
this goes on and on over and over, and i have given up trying to post from my office computer
i feel fortunate to use this site and the moderator has always tried to help me right away when i have a question, and i appreciate that as it must be a very stressful job for him a lot of the time
i don't think we should complain about this as i think this change will probably have all the bugs worked out soon and any issues will soon be forgotten
i want to thank the people that run this site and let them know that i appreciate it very much, steve,larson1951
i have learned quite a bit, met some very good people, and are really thankful for the privilege to use this forum

my computer at my office was always my main way to use this forum now i log in and it thanks me for logging in, then my browser redirects me to the forum and it tells me i am not logged in
it does this over and over and over.......................................................?

only problem I have is some times I hit my back button and get to a blank page and have to go back to my home page and start over.
