I hunted an old abandoned high school yard that has been giving up a few goodies over the years. I took my E-trac out for about 4 hours, I started out digging every conductive target, but had to give up that strategy after an hour or so. I did manage a couple of wheats, some silver, a junk ring and an old pocket knife. I found the usual clad as expected. First hunt with the newly acquired E-trac, it did me well.

Good hunt with the new E-Trak Dan! I would have been stoked at the first wheat!
Pocket knife is cool!

Just got a e- trac also and already found a silver Washington, Ihp and a standing Liberty quarter in 2 short hunts, great machine. Cool finds

Very nice. I like that stone in the ring though!!!!

It was the only good thing about the ring :) Other than the short lived thrill of digging it.

dig all repeatable tones...results are always good! great finds!

hey Dan- Ive been MDing almost a year. Started w/ a Garrett Ace 250 and feel like I'd like to step up to another detector. What model E-trac is yours and how much are they? I like my Ace 250 but cant seem to find anything but clad..

It's the Minelab E-trac and I paid $650 with 2 coils, shipped. I got a hellava deal. Go to youtube and watch some vids to see if it"s for you or not.
