So I finally got out to the old school/library and it was pretty uneventful for most of the day. Then I dug up this little copper ring and what I think is 1/2 of a spur. I want to try do get a date on the ring. I really hope that is a class ring to the original college, 1901-1926 or the high school that was there after. I want to donate it back to them to display, if I can tie it back in.
