OLD School in Chinquapin, NC?

Interested to know if anyone has any info on this school on NC 41/50...When abandoned...built? Spent about an hour there the other day...got some teasers...no silver/jewelry. Has been mowed & converted to little league style fields.

Worth a 100+ mile return trip?
