So I've been researching more trying to find some older spot to detect. I stumbled across a park that used to have a school house located on one corner of the park. The location dates back to the mid 1860's as far as when the school house was built. I've found a few toasted IHPs there so this seems to be fairly accurate. My first hit at this site was Scotty Millers bracelet which was at about 15" down. Next came the 1911 V nickel and then the 1906 Barber dime. I also found a 1914 Barber dime there as well. I'm thinking this place has been hit before as I haven't found any other silver at all. Seems odd given the amount of time I spend there on my outings. It's been my experience that where you find barbers you should also find the rest of the dime family... Not complaining though, I do love me some Barbers! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!

Thanks! Plan on letting this site rest a bit since its so dry here. Also letting the colder temps come in so I can hunt longer...

Well it may or may not have been hit very much - you made some decent there finds all things considered .

Nice silver finds

You found yourself a nice little site!!

Congrats on the silvers!!

that's a nice bracelet, good job on the coins too!

WOW, That is a Great Hunt AJ!! Looks like a VG site also..

Nice find. I found a similar one last year and tracked down the owner, who had lost it 57 years ago. See below. She couldn't believe it was actually found. Do some research on the name and perhaps you could find the owner or one of their heirs. It's a very rewarding feeling when you can do that. Good luck.
