Old ring found at colonial site??

Found at early 1700s site in VA. Any idea how old this ring is and info on it?. Says friends... maybe friendship..and a flower design. Seems like copper or brass very lightweight. Thanks

He is one that is listed as 'vintage'. I always assume that means 'not older than me'.



This one on Pinterest says 1880's, but offers no proof. That's what I hate about Pinterest...

I found one nearly identical to that in a ghost town from the 1860-70s. Will post pics if I can find where I put it

Are you suggesting that because it was found at the Ghost Site no-one had visited it since the 1870s & therefore the ring must be that date?
