Old Preform Find

Those are excellent pieces. Ive always wondered why we call them preforms. Those guys you have can cut a strip jerky off for junior any day.

Very nice! They look old, and thin. A bluff overlooking the confluence of two creeks, or a creek and a river is usually a good place to hunt, at least around here. Thanks for the look. Material?

Nice Ryan. Sounds like a good spot. On that second uni faced one if it was a preform... I wonder why they pressure flaked that little edge on the unifaced side? Maybe it was a done deal a tool already. Nice finds I like these kinda things where you have to guess. :hello:

fish hook core...this one looks like it could have been used as a blade too.

saaaweeeet, a multipurpose fish hook core / blade, has to be a first, appreciate your keen observations. Ever think of becoming an authenticator ?
