I dug this pin tonight out of my usual stomping grounds, a farm field that the owner says dates to the mid 1800’s. I’ve dug colonial coppers out of this field so I suspect that it’s older than what the owner believes. This pin was approximately 8+ inches down in the field. It appears it’s made out of copper and had some sort of stone in the center. No idea if it’s semiprecious or just glass. The reason for my post is I’m hoping someone Might be able to help determine the age of this pin. As always any help is appreciated.

I suspect it is a one of a kind and you may never get clear answers. It may be costume jewelry.

Since I know virtually nothing about jewelry, I'd take it to a mom & pop jewelry store and see if they can tell me anything about it, based on its style. They may also be able to tell you what the "stone" is. If not, there may be a way to narrow down the possibilities by checking the hardness (i.e. seeing if flint or something else will scratch it). That said, if it were mine, I wouldn't risk damaging the "stone".

I would think that's a late Victorian love-knot brooch. Very popular from around the late 1800s through to early Edwardian times. They came in various degrees of ornateness, with and without stones. These are both Victorian:
