Thanks Jim, that was quick. Would US Army Civil Engineers have anything to do with building a water supply dam for a small town, or am i getting them mixed up with the Corp of Engineers?

Same thing... yes, they could have been involved and probebly were... a little local research could get you that answer. :)

Makes perfect sense now as to where it was found, near a damsite that was constructed in the late 20's early 30's. Site actually dates before that, as in before the lake was constructed.

Really appreciate your help.
