If anyone has any information on these items it would be greatly appreciated! I believe the small pin has the image of confederate capital in Montgomery. But could be wrong.

Can't find either in Google.

"IN ESSENTIALS UNITY, IN NON-ESSENTIALS LIBERTY, IN ALL THINGS CHARITY" is a quote attributed to St. Augustine.

This is the motto of the Farmers Alliance. I think this makes sense since there are depictions on the object of farming equipment.

"Farmers' Alliance was held at Fayetteville, and the following resolutions were adopted and ordered to be sent to The Progressive Farmer with a request for publication : Resolved, that we have unwavering confidence in the Farmers' Alliance, Relieving that without' union and concert of action among farmers, no important agenda for promoting their interest can be accomplished. Our motto is, "In things essential unity ; in all things charity." Our order is founded on Truth and Justice, and OUR Supposing that your many readers are interested in the welfare and success of Farmers' Clubs and Fairs, "
