I picked these up on a trip to Iowa & Nebraska last week. I'm not sure how old they are?? Maybe 18th century and for sure 19th century I'm thinking?

Both are stamped Ottschi and below with Besancon which a very old town in France close to the Swiss border. The small one has the French fleur-de-lys stamped on it. They also have a variety of stamped marks on the tops of the handles, which may not be hallmarks, but somekind of registry stamp done by some early standards of weights and measurements authority, approving them for use in legal trade?...That all leads me to think these were once of commercial use of somekind?

The tall one stand 7" tall with LITRE on the handle and the shorter one is 6-1/2" tall with DEMI-LITRE on the handle. Together they're a fraction under 4 pounds of pewter. So if anything I paid $7.62 for that many pounds of pewter. They don't seem to be all that valuable, but the older they are the higher the price from what I'm finding online.

Thank you so Namxat, Boy there's a lot of avenues to run down when it comes to old pewter markings. I feel the date of these have been solved and I'll tag it as such.
