Old Permission - Field 1 - Day 2 - Hammered...

The ground was more deeply frozen today making digging a little harder than my last visit.
Cru'dad & I continued the grid on this field for just shy of 3 hours.
I found the first hammered of the year on my 3rd run, a biggie, hopefully the first of many.

That is a "biggie" Cru'!
I knew they could be in quarters but didn't realize there are different sizes....shows how much I know

I ran into a detectorist today on Good Harbor beach in Glaucster, Mass. I knew when I approached him he thought I was going to ask if he'd found anything...but instead I kept it short, asked about what model of detector he was using and if he was on tnet...he wasn't but had posted some things on you tube...anyway...it was cold out there...I figured he didn't want to deal with the frozen ground here in Massachusetts hence the sandy beach... . Sorry, I'm babbling away...glad to see your posts!

I just watched one of those go on Stacks and Bowers this week for $1,500. 1753
