Old Pencil Sharpener??

I think this is an old pencil sharpener?? I would like to know what your opinions are, if anyone has any insight on it. I don't figure it is vaulable . But I would like to know if anyone know around what year it was made or if it's even a pencil sharpener? Thanks Lohi HH

I dont know...kind of looks like an old reel....is the inside rod grooved ? And I dont see where the pencil would insert......

Interesting find, maybe you can take a few more smaller pictures at differant angle, just to get a better perspective of it. Congrats on the find.

Is there a hatch on it where pecil-shavings (or coins) could be emptied out of it?

that is an old double edged razor blade sharpener from the 1920's there was a little holder that held the blade that slid into the slot on the end facing the camera as you turned the crank on the other side the blade would flip flop in side the casing and the 2 wheels would sharpen each side of the blade...if it was still operational it would be worth around $20 or so
