I also hunted a very old park where I was staying that dates back before the 1900's. They used to have horse races and carnivals. I found a couple wheat pennies 1950-d and 1944 near where an old Boy Scout cabin used to be. I also found an old comb and part of a cap gun pistol handle. My dad has found dozens of Indian head pennies and a lot of silver in this area. But this was the best I could do for the short time I had to hunt.
