I found this frame at a favorite site which had a mill in the 1700's as well as a store and homesite.
It was in rough shape and broken, but I was able to find the two small pieces that broke off and epoxy
them in place. It took a lot of work to restore it to this condition. There are no makers marks on it.
It is about a foot tall so it would fit an oval cut from an 8"x10" photo.
Does anyone know enough about old picture frames to suggest an age and value?
