IMG_20141006_060206783[1].jpgIMG_20141005_172133508_HDR[1].jpg Thanks for looking at two of my recent finds. I was just wondering if anyone would have any idea as to what the ornate piece of lead would be? Also the flat buttons age. The button has the words Orange colour on the back with 4 stars. Any help would be great. Thank You #Nateking

Looks like a flat button. Impossible to tell the maker but probably made in England, Birmingham or London most likely. They are quality marks. Dates to the first half of the 19th C.
Are you sure the other piece is lead and not pewter and is the back flat?

Your "lead" piece is likely pewter instead. It appears to be the handle off of a spoon or fork or maybe even an old mirror.

It is lead for sure its heavy and bends easily. And yes the back is flat. Thanks! Portage Co Treasure Hunters #Nateking
