Old or not old and of course what's it?

Found this at a site that dates to late 1800s but also modern trash. Thought this was an old rosette or similar but after cleaning noticed glue or adhesive on the back. That made me think modern toy or something. Looks like a chess piece in the center and has some thin detail lines with no paint around the edges. Any thoughts?

Apparently there were powder compact tins with their logo (they were the female Masons I believe) along with that pattern around the border; vintage "order of the eastern star" compact - Google Search

Wow, you nailed it. There us some detail around the birder not seen well in the photo that I can match perfect to one of the ones you found.
