I was debating whether to go back to the mansion and see if I could find another straggler like yesterday's half cent. Or, go to a more modern school yard and just play with the clad etc.

Well, I figured I could go to the mansion any day. Schools, I won't go to them during the week. Too many confusions can happen.
Besides, Blingie has been very upset with me, I had a better chance to find something to appease in a school yard. LOL

So, off to the school I went:




It's funny. I must've found a handful of these tokens over time and I still don't know how old.



Poor medal lost a battle with a lawnmower.


I did find this interesting metal button.
I suspect modern, it did clean up nice.





And, as it turns out, it's a good thing that I chose this place.
For you see, unbeknownst to me, Blingie had locked the doors and wasn't going
to let me back in my own house if I didn't bring something good to wear.

This was it.




4 grams of .925 silver

All's well again.

Nice finds! I got a token with the eagle no cash value on backside, just like that one. I dug it up in the woods and when I seen the eagle, I thought I had an old coin. Oh well, I do love tokens too... HH

Actually, not this time. You see, I have this habit of calling my shots before everything I dig. I've done enough digging now to know something's up when it rings like a penny near the top and when I uncover it, it's more the size of a quarter. I see it and before I pick it up, I say, token.

Still fun in any case!

Gorgeous finds lol...question if you have a significant other do you treat her as well as blingie haha? I know if I find a ring and my girl catches wind I gave it to my mascot ( which I dont have yet but eventually will dig one) she would tell me if I love my mascot so much to sleep with that and not her. She already gets irritated when she does cleaning and I bring in a ton of finds to run through electrolysis and have it laying all over the counter top haha.

Oh, I am QUITE alone, now, and am NOT looking to restart anything anywhere. It's lonely being by oneself but I just don't want what comes with having another.

I had one once and I gave her the most beautiful 3 colored gold ring you ever saw! Or, I should say, when I brought it in it was "claimed". (Just like everything else, I do all the work, pay all the money, and somehow, it belonged to her. )

It had a yellow gold background, with a roses design. The roses were pink gold and the stems were green gold!!! I have never seen another like it.

She ran off with another and didn't return the ring.

SOooooo, thanks but no thanks. I'm not looking for another.

I would RATHER give them to a mascot!
