Here are 2 nice Dovetails. The smaller one was found by Martin Bauer who owned a farm in Scioto Co. Oh. When he passed most of his amazing collection was sold to Jon Dickinson who resold them on his website. I bought the point from Mr. Bauers grandson.
The larger point was a gift to me from my nephew who knows I like artifacts, especially Dovetails. Unfortunately it is a repo. I knew it right off. Still I appreciated his gesture and will never tell him. Still the points do have a lot in common. A good knapper made both.
