Old neighborhood corner lot

Spent 3 1/2 hours at my new permission this morning. I was hoping there would have been more silver but it only gave up one 41 Washington along with 10 wheaties & some clad..... That makes 16 silver for 2014 so far so I'm pretty happy :-)

I know Ray but I made the mistake of thinking I knew what was there before I beeped it. In the same neighborhood I've had 2 lots that gave up 7 at one & 8 silver at the other plus almost 40 wheaties in each yard, along with tokens & rings. And the other lots have produced 1 to 3 silver each plus wheaties. This yard is 3-4 times bigger, its a corner lot & has never had a pool or pavers added anywhere, just grass all over. So yes I'm psyched I found a quarter & really psyched its #16 but I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more

Now it all makes sense, been there. Im just waiting when my luck runs out ive been hitting silver every hunt.hit another barber half today! Hard not getting your hopes up high though. Guess its all just part of our great hobby.

Good luck Dave, focus on the sides of the driveway, sidewalk & walk ways, back corners of the yard (where clothes lines would have been) & near the front & back door is where I find most silver in old yards. Don't get me wrong I beep every square inch cause there's always the random lost coin in the middle of the yard. Keep us posted
