So I haven't been out in almost 2 weeks because of a "vacation" and work and other stuff. My wife has gone to Augusta for an interview so I decided today was my day. I started off at an elementary school and turns out to be possibly virgin grounds...maybe. I started off just looking in the sandy areas beneath the swings and found some clad and trash...and the Old Navy Button...really...I wished it had been an old, Navy button...I did find the small 4 hole button on the playground...maybe CW era? This school is on the original road from Kenansville to Warsaw. Anyway, I decided to change up as there are acres upon acres at this school and it seemed like I was getting hits on pennies every 10 feet. Don't get me wrong...I like pennies...er...cents. I like dimes and quarters better! Well, I got a 53 on the AT Pro and decided to dig the nickle...guess what...not a nickle!!! 4.2 gms of 417 marked GOLD (10K according to what I found online). I couldn't believe my eyes...I just happened to park in a field and walk in no particular direction towards it...AWESOME! I was so excited, I forgot to take a photo of the ring in the hole! It was clad and trash from there...50+ coins totaling $2.34...no wheaties. Enjoy the photos...I sure enjoyed digging them!
