Old Mining Town Finds....

Yesterday Terri, Donna and I went back to an old mining town we had hunted last month with our friend Cindy. The creek bows around the town and has flooded it several times in the last century. The last flood in the '90s FEMA bought out most of the home owners and cleared the area.

The creek is between the train tracks and the field.




I got 4 miners tags but 2 were broken. Donna found 3 tags and Terri found 1. (Terri's first tag, she was tickled) All 8 tags were in the same lot but they all have different numbers.
I got one 1941 wheat and this cool radiator cap hood ornament. I can't ID which make of auto it came from though.




Donna found some really cool stuff. Watch for her post. She had the best keepers of the day.

Nice finds!!! Here's a link to Radiator Cap Ornaments..maybe you can see which one yours is...I really can't make out what it really looks like...hope it helps!....
