Old Mine Produces a Tab Bit of Silver

Another old place out in the Mojave desert. I tried to get to this spot several days ago but the snow was 6-8 inches deep. Strange weather for here. Didn't find any coins, but I did get half of a silver cufflink.

A big truck axle sticking out of the ground.

Put a penny on there for a size reference.

For information, the Los Angeles Brewing Co. (aka Eastside Beverage Co.) was founded in 1897 and continued under that name until 1920 when prohibition forced them to exploit other markets. They retained the Eastside name as a brand but made soft drinks and ‘near beer’ below the ABV limit of 0.5% alcohol under the new name of “Zesto Beverage Co.”
