I need help identifying these old military belts. They come from a collection of mostly WW2 items. The navy belt has numerous brass pieces and a star above the anchor. The other belt has an impressed leather band that I have shown in a closeup. Any help would be appreciated.
I have no idea, but I found a couple of others, and the top one might be Brazil. This one is from Brazil. Naval dress sword belt, and it has the star over the anchor. This is a British Naval dress sword belt.
The Germans also had or have a buckle with an anchor, and the US Navy officers sword buckle doesn't have an anchor on it. I thought perhaps the US Navy Chief Petty Officer belt might have an anchor, but couldn't find one. I know a couple of retired chiefs, but they aren't convenient to ask right now, and I don't think so anyhow.
