I found this medallion near an old Roman settlement. I honestly do not know if the medallion is Roman but the drawings depicted seem to point close to that time period. But I could be wrong! I am not an expert on Roman artifacts. One side features a man kneeling down next to what looks like a deer. The other side is a little bit harder to picture but it seems to be a pyramid with the sun at the top. The medalion is smaller than an American dime. If there are any folks out there who can can provide a better identification, I'm open to suggestions! Thanks for looking!

It's not Roman but could easily be 17th C, nice find in pretty good nick.

looks masonic maybe he's praying above his hands looks like the compass and ruler but I'm not a mason
 

I can see a cross behind the animal which normally symbolises the lamb of God.
