I found this 6 inches down in an area I found a Large Cent and a Barber Dime. Just some random grassy area in an old town. The text on the front of the medal says "OLD GRANDDAD CLUB"

The metal with the writing on it is different than the metal backing part, I have no idea what either of them are.

I've drank enough old grandad that I feel if there *IS* a club, I should know about it.

Old Grandad was football coach Joe Paterno's favorite drink!

Just looking through old posts with few answers. Found a bit to go with this one in an obituary. I assume he didn't join a club by that name until he was older, so it at least puts some kind of period to it. Can't find any record of the club itself.
Might be just a PA thing.
