Old mechanical part dug in 1910’s to 1930’s landfill with words on it. Any ideas?

I found this in park that used to be a dump in the early 1900’s and found this dial thing in the center of the dump. Sadly it’s been shredded by a lawnmower so not much left to go off of. The top looks like it says ————RONIC on the top,——— - 20w in the middle, and ——— ERPOINT on the bottom. Looks like it may have also had words stamped in sides, but have long since faded off. I’ve found many car related parts in this park, so could it be the something from an antique car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly an old electrical fuse.

Looks like the remains of a fluorescent light starter. The picture is just to give you an idea of what they looked like.
