old marble?

i will send a pic. but it is .5 inches, dull tan and looks like clay. any ideas? i'm not a marble guy 'cause i lost all of mine.

I think these are what you're looking at. They're unglazed clay marbles and date from the same time period as the bennington's I threw in the picture. We used to find them all the time on construction sites after a heavy rain.
