Hello there. I dug this axe head last week. It was found about 8 inches down in a field on my families property in Massachusetts about six mile from Concord. It was heavily encrusted in rust and since been preserved as you can see from pics. Can anyone tell me how old or anything about this relic? It measures 6 inches in length and 4 inches wide at cutting edge (3 at butt) and one inch at its thickest. Fingers crossed some of you out there can help. Thanks so much!
