🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Old lock

Any thoughts on this lock? Found near the former interurban train path from the early 1900s. Treated with electrolysis.
Unfortunately no words on the lock. Appreciate any thoughts. Thank you.

It does look like a switch box lock missing the chainn on the bottom.
