"Smokehouse" lock from probably 1880's or so. Bunch of manufacturers including some English. Most likely US by William Wilcox (WWCo.) or Russell & Erwin (RE&Co.) Probably would have had a keyhole drop or cover at one time. Usually had some initials to indicate manufacturer. Little more unusual looking one with that decorative style of brass bushing. Most were a little more simple than yours. Cool.
