Crack pipe,Crack pipe, not sure about the third one?? and finally Crack pipe!!!!

If you are finding them with your detector that means that there is still a piece of brass scrubbing pad in them

Re: Odd Glass tubes

Looks like someone was experimenting with blowing glass. If you fire the ends of tubing until cherry red you can take a pair of pliers and stretch it to the with of a hair. In the case of the small vile, air was blown into the hot glass then shaped, transferred to a punty (metal or glass tube) then the lip was shaped. Neat find, now get out your torch and make us some glass viles.

Just finding them in my dig piles, there are a lot of them in this old dumping area.
the diameter is WAY too small to smoke a rock in.

Re: Odd Glass tubes

I read about old tecniques for making lab pipettes, that may be what these are.
How could perfume be held in the ones with flared ends & unbroken opposite ?
I think that the flat piece with #s is from a perfume sample,
I think others mayb be lab pipettes.

It's amazing how many people know what a crack pipe looks like! :laughing9:

I say they are laboratory glass.

I agree. They are laboratory glass that has one end broken off so some crack head could smoke crack out of it. My friend worked at a convenience store and he said that crack heads would come in and buy those small test tubes with the tiny fake flower inside so they could break one end off and use as a pipe.
