Old License Plates

I lived on a farm when I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and spent many hours in the barn. My grandfather had these nailed to the wall and at a young age I thought these were preety cool and so I saved these all these years.

They are ceramic coated plates with a metal "keystone" attached with a serial number attached.

Since my days of MDing are on hold for a while, I thought I'd share some of my treasures with all of you the next few months. If there's a more appropriate place to post these, someone please let me know.

I found an old plate at my parents house. NY26 I believe it was, but being in the ground didn't do it any favors!!!!!

Really Neat Plates!, My grandfather was the same way, he had Texas Plates from 1922 until 1976 nailed up in his garage also. Although, Texas plates were not ceramic coated.
