Whispered words was what the Garrett ATPRO was hinting to me
at 15 inches deep with no ID #s or depth,on the pin point.
I was willing to dig as deep as it took,at 13 inches I hit a RED BRICK
pulled it out of mother earth and 2" under that I pulled the cedar box
that contained the BLADE!!!
I think the brick was put there for a water shed!!!
NOTE the blade warped in a oily type rawhide leather

THANKS
SPUD

To much detail,I dont even have to look at the knife.
The sheath or case tells the whole ,well almost the whole story.
Sory you are way off ,,lets wait to see what the pros say.
Austin if I stand corrected I will contact u.
LIKE your house ,where is it?
That may fit in my bedroom.

thanks nola.I want to see the cedar box as it may be more collectable.the hex nut on the hilt,"pure steel"on the blade.Does the other side of the blade say victory or good luck ?Many were made here in u.s. as well.philly I think I read.India still selling those.
I think its cool but I believe austin nailed it.nola proved it too.good ID guys

Guess I might as well pile on. I'm a life member of the Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association and a collector and dealer of antique knives. Spudnuts, you piece is definitely a tourist item of low quality and probably less than forty years old. Most likely made in India, seen often at flea markets. Must have been a thrill to dig that deep and find something!!

I agree its nothing of any historical value and it looks recently buried. Interesting find nonetheless and must have been a thrill..
