🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Old hub from the farm machinery pile

Any idea what this hub was used on? It is a fascinating shape - found it buried in the duff at the edge of a pile of old farm gear. 3 1/2" center bore, 7 1/8" top opening, 5 bolt holes , 13 1/2" across the back, 14 curved "fingers" each with a hole. No idea!

I’d guess a wheel hub of some type. The 5 hole bolt pattern looks pretty standard.

It's the center part of a "Military Style" automotive wheel from the mid 1930s, similar to the ones in the following link.

If you look at the photos of the back of the wheels you will see how they are assembled to the rim and they're very similar to the one you have found.
