old house to search..

Took a ride to check out an old house after work today. Friend of mine bought it about a year ago. Some renovations and landscaping have been done, but most of the ground looks virgin. Got a tour, walked the lot(about an acre) and found the old well(disguised in a stone wall)...then spent about an hour retrieving a dead rabbit from it! Took a few swings with the Ace, found part of a small buckle. Chatted about it's history and got an open invitation to search. Unfortunately, other pressing matters will delay any serious hunting for about a month. Going to help him do some research on the property, not much has been done yet. So excited... I only took 1 pic before I left..check out the date on the plaque..will keep you posted...

How exciting!!!
It is an incredibly beautiful & cute house & to know that it is dated from the 1700's. . . ooooo, the fun! Not only hunting it but the research I think is going to be a grand too!!! Have fun & enjoy & please please please do share with everyone here
