Hunted the front yard of an old house this morning. The owner told me that her father had hunted the yard many times years ago so there probably wasn't much left to find. The only area accessible to hunt was a very small portion of yard between the porch and the street. It didn't give up anything spectacular for sure, but I didn't get skunked either. A few modern dimes, several copper pennies, a pistol caliber bullet (probably .38) and three Alabama state tax tokens. I guess her dad already got the silver.......but he missed those tax tokens!! It was a good morning.
