Jeff and I got permission to detect an old house that is slated for demolition in Yellow Springs. A local archeologist told us about it.
It started raining here today but we hit the site incase the demolition guys get there first. All coins were hard to get a signal on and deep 5-8." Gound was very dry although rainy/drizzly all day. VDI was 74-76
Well jeff did ok:
Merc Dime - 1921
Rosy Dime - 1952
Rosy Dime 1951
Wheat Penny - 1919
SKD:
Merc Dime at 6" -1917
Several current pennies - big deal
One indian decoration from indian children -junk
Lots of fun and good lunch but now headache from MSG in food.
SKD/Jeff
