Old Homesite Find Feb 20th 2016

[Saving Tennessee History]

I took my kids out today for some old homesite digging. All that was left was the chimney so I am unsure of the date. Found this and was not sure what it was. Has a '26' mark upper left. Any ideas?

Size would help
-the above may very well be correct, I just wondered if it might be too small based on the probable size of the carriage bolt sticking out the side.

I left it up on the mountain. It was a good steep mile hike to the home place. I'll try to get some measurements the next time I go.
