Old Home Site on a Hill and Down the Road

Here's a collection of my favorite finds over the last few weeks. I eyeballed those marbles! Unbeknownst to me, a large hill across from my property in a farm field was the site of an old 1800's farm house. I always figured there was something about that hill. I discovered the house burnt several years ago. I found numerous pieces of pottery, glass and other evidence of an old home site. I have hunted the yard of a house said to be the only other house on the road besides the the burnt one and found some interesting items as well. The same owner allowed me to hunt an old home site on his property nearby but the ground had been turned over so much for a new road recently. I did find a great marble and old brass picture hanger there. The brass ring with the inscription was the best find in my opinion. Wish I knew the back story on it! I cleaned the pendant up. Wife wears most of them like this I find.
