Well I went back to the celler hole that I found last week, Sorry about the pictures But all I have at the moment is the phone camera.
I took my time and looked HARD around the place, nothing but junk! So I widened my search and about an 1/8 of a mile as the crow flies I found another home site. No cellar hole but alot of brick and assorted farm plow parts, So I started looking. My first find was a button, I took pictures but when I tried to send to my email account I sent them too fast I guess, Becouse the app. Locked up, and when I got home I had lost the pictures, Anyway The Button and a 1909 Wheat back were all that I found that day. I called my partner Mac232 and another hunting Buddy Phil Davenport (He's legally Blind But still is an amazing hunter). Well the three of us hit Both sites Hard, The first one gave up nothing more, So we headed to the second site. The first keeper was a Federal Breast Plate! Found not thirty feet from the AVC Button that I'd found the day before, I found Two Injuns less than 6 feet from each other, It was around lunch time so we broke for it. After we got back to the site it was like you flipped a switch, I couldn't find anything But Phil loaded up. First he found another AVC Button only his had a bad push in the center of it. Next he found a Badge that I think was made to celebrate the opening of the Chickamauga National park, As it has on it the number killed ,wounded, And the total, Plus " 350 days under continous fire Sept. 19-21 1895. Next was another button that appears to have an eagle on, Mac232 was having a not so good of a day, Having found only a shot pistol ball and a 1919 wheat back (I think that was the date). Phil also found a tag that Had W&A. R.R 54 Local on it, It's gotta be rare I've looked on the internet and about all you find on the RR is the date it opened and the story of the General and the story of the train race, (again sorry about the pictures I'm hoping to buy a good camera as soon as funds will allow) Happy Hunting to all.
Oh! and I did find a small Buckle maybe a kepi buckle I'm not sure, And a three ringer,The first Indian was found
the first day I found the place, Along with the rectangle looking plate(it's about 1x4 inches)
