Haven’t posted in a while, but this one peaked my interest. Full disclosure, I am not a bottle guy. The bottle dumps I do find while detecting, I pass their location along to someone who cares. But metal detecting was slow today. Shotgun shells. I found one musket ball. I stumbled upon a bottle dump and decided to move a little dirt. Within seconds I unearthed a small clear bottle. Thought it might be an early Coca Cola bottle until I found the word Heinz on the bottom. Quick Google search showed this was likely the first style of Heinz ketchup bottle ever produced. Pretty cool in my book, even for a bottle.
