Old Grist Mill Finds????

Hello everyone. I was MDing around a old grist mill and found these. To be truthful this is all I found after a long search. The items I have in question is the round metal items I also found a 1796 2 reale. Can anyone help? There are no markings on the back at all.

they look like chinese cash coins to me.

There are no visable markings and I should have noted that they are not flat but raised in the center. I don't know how to explain it better than that. Also the outer circle on the front is not present on the back. The back is just plain.
Added a cent for comparision too size.

They are pieces of furniture hardware. Mount behind drawer pulls...

I don't know for sure but they look a little small for furniture hardware to me. Anyone else have a idea

No new ideas... I like the square bolt furniture idea... prolly more as a washer then a decoration?
