Hi I found this old gold cross while panning for gold in gold country. Any idea how much it's worth? I think it says inh on the back.

At first glance, it appears to be copper. But that could always just be the lighting.

if the writing looks hebrew/latin... it might be from old Jesuit Treasure buried in the area. I'd investigate that area and only keep that location to yourself

Passed 14k test. Did not pass 18k. Just under a gram

Does look like rose gold and being the condition it's in, it be a little hard to get much over the 14k scrap value IMO. It does look old and I'd keep it as something you could get some quick cash out of or pawn if needed. Very easy item to get some cash out of. Maybe if you had a jeweler fix it so a chain could go on it that may add value. I found a black hills 10k cross not long ago I paid $18 bucks or so for and it had maybe $15 bucks scrap value. I put it on ebay for a flat buy price of I think $68. bucks and it sold within hours. So there are ways to get more over the weight for your gold.
