Old gas pipe?

Found the pick and axe buried together the horseshoe and pipe nearby. Looks like a gas pipe to me but I'm not sure and ideas?

6cm by 14cm? It could be broken on the grooves open bowl side is flat. Camera just died I will post later yes.

What state are you in, if you dont mind. Those are some good finds. Strange you found an axe head and a pick head in the same hole! Maybe a Native American miner buried them? Probably not though!

....kind of thinking A2coins is closer as the object has ridges that might grasp a hose.....the funnel opening is just so small !

is it threaded or ribbed
If its ribbed that it would take a hose
is it brass? if so, gas related, brass wont spark
can you tell us about the larger open end?
is it threaded? what does the larger inside look like
