Old Garrett AT3 Gets A Beautiful Vintage Lure & Some Silver Water Hunting Today
Headed out after work to another beach which I usually hunt once or twice a year. Murphy's law was with me, as I had just walked into the lake wearing my chest waders, when it started poring rain, and continued for about an hour. I figured heck, I drove this far, so I continued hunting. I took both and used a VLF water machine and a PI water machine. The VLF got nearly all the finds. There was just too much junk in the water to get a decent hunt with the PI.
3 1/2 hours of water hunting got me all this. I used a lot of discrimination on my AT3 to make the hunt more enjoyable.

Here's a pic of the single spinner. These are quite collectible and often fetch around $50.00 in good shape. The one I found was manufactured by a company from Toronto Canada called ALLCOCK LAIGHT & WESTWOOD. Here is a link to the company:

And I lucked out (below) and found a 1943 silver quarter and a silver ring with the stones missing.
